Two stands, one engineering discipline: moving demanding data across constrained networks

Tesla Technologies is at IBC2026 twice over: with our own stand in the Future Tech Ignite zone, showing live volumetric streaming over Beyond-5G and 6G, and inside the IBC Accelerator programme with Q-Stream. Both in Hall 14, and the engineers who built them are the ones on the stand.

Volumetric video, live, over the network you actually have

Immersive media today is mostly flat video or pre-recorded XR. HoloCast-6G streams volumetric content live over Beyond-5G and 6G, with compression that cuts the required bitrate by around 30 percent while perceptual quality holds.

High fidelity, very low latency and a sense of co-presence that changes what audience engagement can mean for broadcasters, live events and XR platforms. It is one expression of a wider capability: moving demanding data across constrained networks, reliably, at scale.

Media that stays intelligible when the network gives up

Q-Stream · quantum-secure, network-adaptive and verifiable live media infrastructure

Second year running inside the IBC Accelerator, the programme where media organisations, technology partners and researchers take a real industry problem and come back with something that runs. We proposed this project, we coordinate it and we lead it technically.

The agency that verifies news for the world’s newsrooms is validating the provenance chain with us. That is the part we would bring you to the stand to see.

The challenge

Media delivery is still optimised for stable networks and for visual quality, with little room to react to sudden degradation. When the link fails, the stream fails with it.

The approach

Intelligibility and trust before pixel-perfect quality: predictive network intelligence with content-aware processing, adaptation at very low bitrates, and verification that keeps integrity provable along the whole chain.

Behind both stands

One engineering practice, and you can check it

The two stands are not two departments. Both come out of the same R&D centre in Santiago de Compostela, with hubs in Madrid, Manchester, Buenos Aires and Arad
